Object of the Game

Goal:The first player to reach 10 victory points wins the game.

You begin the game with two settlements and two roads. Each settlement is worth 1 victory point. To gain additional victory points, you must build new roads and settlements or upgrade settlements to cities. Each city is worth 2 victory points. Some Development Cards award victory points. Special cards for the Longest Road and the Largest Army also award victory points.

To build or upgrade, use the resources you acquire on your turn.

Each player's turn consists of 3 phases:

Resource production

Trade

Build

The five productive terrain types are:

Hills = Brick (4, 5, 8)

Pasture = Wool (12, 10, 10, 9)

Mountains = Ore (6, 3, 5)

Fields = Wheat (9, 11, 8, 2)

Forest = Lumber (11, 3, 4, 6)

The desert produces nothing and does not contain a number.

In addition to the above resources, you may collect and play Development Cards.

You make him to rule over the works of Your hands;

You have put all things under his feet,

All sheep and oxen, And also the beasts of the field,

The birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea,

Whatever passes through the paths of the seas.
